These terms apply to all trips and packages booked with HumTripWale and to your use of humtripwale.com. By booking or using the website, you agree to them.
Booking and payment
- A booking is confirmed by the HumTripWale team after we receive the advance. The advance depends on the trip. See payment terms.
- Prices are quoted per person and 5% GST is extra.
- For group trips the balance is due 3 days before departure.
- Prices and availability can change until your booking is confirmed.
Cancellation and refunds
Refunds follow our cancellation and refund policy, which applies to all trips. In short: cancel 15 or more days before departure for a 100% refund, 8 to 14 days for 50%, and within 7 days there is no refund.
What your package includes
Each package page and itinerary PDF lists what is included and excluded. Anything not listed as included, such as lunch on some trips, personal expenses, activity fees and travel insurance, is paid by you.
Itinerary changes and the mountains
Mountain travel depends on weather, road closures, landslides, snow and local administration orders. We may change the route, order of days, stay or vehicle to keep the group safe. Extra travel, stay or food costs caused by closures or natural events are not covered in the package. Your trip captain will adjust the plan where possible.
Your responsibilities
- Give us correct names, contact numbers and ID details, and carry valid photo ID on the trip.
- Tell us about any health condition, allergy or limitation that may affect the trip.
- Be on time at pickup and meeting points. We cannot wait or refund for a missed departure.
- Follow your trip captain's instructions, local laws and rules of hotels, camps and the places you visit.
- Respect fellow travellers, local people and the environment. We may remove a traveller whose behaviour puts the group at risk, without refund.
- We strongly suggest travel insurance, especially for high-altitude trips.
Adventure activities and risk
Treks, rafting, paragliding and other activities carry risk. They are run by local operators and you take part at your own risk. Follow the safety instructions given.
Our liability
HumTripWale arranges stays, transport and services with partners. We take care in choosing them, but we are not liable for loss, injury, delay or damage caused by a partner, by events outside our control, or by a traveller's own actions. Where we are responsible, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected trip.
Photos
We may take photos and videos on trips and use them to show our trips. Tell your trip captain if you do not want to appear in them.

Content on humtripwale.com belongs to HumTripWale or its owners. Please do not copy it without permission. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the terms in force when you book apply to your booking. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
