- November to February: the main season. Dry, pleasant, busiest and costliest, especially around Christmas and New Year.
- March to May: hot and humid, fewer people, lower prices.
- June to September: monsoon. Green and quiet, with sea activities mostly shut.
How to reach Goa
- By air: Goa has two airports, Dabolim (Goa) and Mopa (North Goa). Check which one your trip uses once dates are final.
- By train: Madgaon and Thivim are main railheads on the Konkan Railway.
- By road: long overland drives from Mumbai and Pune are possible.
